Friendly, warming food. And in the pressure cooker, relatively quick. For the babies, with egg stirred in, and a splash of soy sauce for the toddler, too. For the adults, sesame oil, soy sauce, hot sauce, fish sauce, peanuts, spring onions and stirfried mushrooms. Everybody wins.

Oh you brought back so many memories of singapore, where I used to live!
This is seemingly dull fare compared to all the other rich and spicy foods you get there, but in reality it is such a wonderful blend of flavours and textures. And you make it your own by choosing the toppings. Mmmm.
I'd love to get a look at your pantry, you seem to have everything! I can't remember the last time I had peanuts in my kitchen. And the fish sauce has been sitting unused in the fridge for ages. I have a couple overused shelves of everyday food, and another couple shelves that seem to be getting fuller and fuller of packs of spices and sauces that will probably expire before I do anything about it. Los tiraré en la próxima mudanza, seguro, y mamá me mata.
