Take a look at this. Another blogger has kindly asked me to do an illustration for a header, and I´m really pleased with the result.
It´s a lot of fun to work outside the usual books/magazines. And I discovered her blog , which I didn´t know before, so, great.

Dang, she got to you first. Lately, I've been thinking about your drawings and how good they might look on MY site.
I've been picking up courage to email you, Ximena, too (At My Table banner is absolutely amazing!!!) And I've got TWO sites in need of redesign..

The other stuff is just ballpoint pen and watercolour, with a bit of collage, maybe.

Beautiful work, and I think you've opened up a can of worms. You could probably make a living now off designing banners for your fans. :)
I'm looking forward to seeing your banners all over the internet. But it's a cookbook I'm really waiting for. I know you mentioned that you were illustrating one. Will it be in English?
To anyone thinking about getting Ximena to design a new banner for your site - you won't regret it. Btw, I love the smoke cloud title, very clever!
